The Mission of the Scholars Public School is to focus on learning for every student every day. It is emphasized that learners must find something better on a daily basis with some accomplishment. The scholar will apply knowledge and skills learnt in everyday life situations. The vision at SPS emphasizes the fact that learning is reflected in both achievement and growth. We have been intentional in celebrating strengths and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Given the impact of pandemic, we designed and delivered courses and instructions that are engaging, interactive, well supported and responsive to the times. During this time we tried to build a personal connection with our students, parents and all stakeholders. Our efforts have always helped the students to be focused on learning and be sensitive to their achievements. We have created a sense of collaborative learning from all possible sources during this academic year. Especially during these challenging situations, as we always insisted upon ,we have identified and supported the students in their areas of academic concern , struggles and assessed their learning outcomes on a regular basis. We have observed that this new normalway of imparting education has given wings to many shy, introverted and submissive students as they are studying from the safe comfort of their homes in the company of their parents or guardians. If used to its full potential, online education can prove to be more effective than face to face teaching.
Since the child is the centre of the education system and the aim of the education system is to prepare the student to survive as well as thrive in his lifetime achievements,we have always helped the Scholars to achieve their goals. We must adopt the learning strategies as per the need of the upcoming times. The online education caters to almost all the needs of the students. In the times to come we are planning to focus upon 21st century learning skills and techniques such as Creativity and innovation ,Communication and Collaboration, Problem solving and decision making, Critical thinking and Competency based learning. We have emphasized on using online and digital technology to upgrade the school operational management system.

Environmental Awareness & Sustainability Initiatives
The school remains deeply committed to promoting environmental consciousness and sustainable practices among students through various awareness programmes and meaningful activities conducted throughout the academic session. The institution continuously encourages students to become responsible citizens and active contributors towards the protection and preservation of the environment. More than 1000 saplings have been planted by the students in the nearby areas as a part of the school’s continuous effort towards creating a greener and healthier environment.
A wide range of environmental activities and campaigns were organized during the year to instill sensitivity towards nature and sustainable living practices. Under the initiative “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, a plantation drive was conducted to encourage students to plant and nurture trees as a symbol of love, gratitude, and responsibility towards nature. Students enthusiastically participated in tree plantation activities and pledged to contribute towards a greener environment.
On the occasion of Earth Day, a special assembly was conducted to spread awareness about environmental conservation and sustainable living. Students actively participated in poem recitation, slogan-writing activities, and thought-provoking presentations highlighting the importance of protecting nature. A PowerPoint Presentation Competition was also organized on themes such as “E-Waste and Its Management” and “My Role in Making India Clean and Green”, where students confidently expressed innovative ideas and practical solutions for environmental protection.
The school also organized awareness campaigns on important environmental concerns such as “Say No to Plastic”, proper disposal of e-waste, and electricity conservation. Students were sensitized about reducing plastic usage, adopting eco-friendly alternatives, conserving natural resources, and responsibly discarding electronic waste to protect the environment from pollution and hazardous effects.
Creative and activity-based learning initiatives such as Best Out of Waste competitions were conducted to promote the idea of recycling and reusing materials effectively. Throughout the session, students actively participated in awareness rallies, special assemblies, नुक्कड़ नाटक (street plays), poster-making competitions, slogan-writing activities, and interactive sessions focusing on environmental protection and sustainable development.
These initiatives not only enhanced environmental awareness among students but also encouraged them to adopt eco-friendly habits and spread awareness within society. The school continues to work towards creating environmentally responsible and socially aware future citizens through continuous participation and practical learning experiences.
Environmental education provides important opportunities for students to become engaged in real world issues that transcend classroom walls. Environmental education benefits students to be good environmental citizens by awarding them a sense of collective belonging to a safe environment for the community and also for generations yet to come. We are conducting activities to make our students aware of how to devise ways and means to construct a safe environment. We have insisted on learning by art integration , flip classroom learning to nourish the experiences of the learner in practical real time situations.
We did an activity, “Have a Paper-free day! ”. We challenged our students to go an entire day without using any paper. Students did recommend the idea and promised the school how they would support the community in creating awareness to save paper in future.
We have encouraged the students to reuse old carrier bags, recycle their paper, turn the lights off, turn the computers off at night etc.to save limited resources.
Plantations of trees are important as they improve the quality of life to fulfil essential needs of mankind. We have given a message“The trees are getting rare; it’s our duty to give them proper care and space in our surroundings”. Plant a tree today to live better tomorrow. Sustainable development is one which looks after the needs for present as well as future generations.
Keeping the above idea and slogan in mind, the school made efforts from time to time for tree plantations. Our students planted approximately 700 trees in the year 2019-20 to save the environment and its quality.
We are on a mission to transform education globally from rote learning from “telling” to teaching.
We believe that skills are built through repeated experience of trying things on one’s own.
