The Scholars Public School was founded in 2006, is run by ZMS Educational and Welfare Trust.Located near the foothills of outer Himalyas to the south of Himachal Pradesh, but in Punjab,sprawling over 3.25 acres is a Premier educational initiative catering to the needs of Rural Hinterlands in the proximity of Nawanshahar and Balachaur in Punjab.Nestled in a tucked away nook of countryside but always in the minds and talk of eminent educationist who always prefer to discuss the effort of the Team SPS. The SPS is well known in the facilities and quality infrastructure. As per guidlines and directives of NEP 2020, ranging from sports, competitive exams, mental mathematics, skill based vocational subjects are our dream projects  for our scholars to aim high an excel in their careers.Through the COVID 19 phase, the lesson moved to online mode without any delay from 27th March 2020 onwards. The SPS aims at providing affordable quality education to meet the requirements of all sections of society with maximum facilities. The School is affiliated to CBSE and ensures strict compliance to National Educational policy/NCERT guidelines from time to time.

The school has well equipped modern Science laboratories, and smart classes ,3D Labs, Computer Rooms, big Library, and Reading Room fully stocked with latest books and magazines of child interest on all subjects. It provides spacious Play Grounds for major and minor outdoor and indoor games and sports. A fleet of comfortable buses provides Transport Facilities to the students.

Physical Infrastructure

The School has Spacious, Airy, Well-Maintained Double-Story Building. All the rooms are well furnished. The Digital Smart Class rooms and 3D Labs provided advanced support to the students for their better learning. The School Prides itself on possessing three spacious, well-equipped, sophisticated laboratories of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The school has Mathematics & 3D labs as well.

To make students computer literate, the school has well fabricated computer wing with Multimedia, Internet and Email facilities. The School provides not only computer education but education through computers also. To enhance the quality of education, the school arranges for rich Educational capsules every year in various subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Social Studies, English etc.

Audio-Visual Room

To make the process of learning interesting the school is equipped with a well furnished Audio-Visual Room. It enables the students to understand the practicaled subjects more mindly and deeply. It relieves the students of the traditional methods of learning.

Besides an excellent collection of encyclopedias, world book series, classics, numerous periodicals and magazines, the school ensures regular inflow of new editions for its upkeep. “Story Books Section” is a new addition to develop interest and motivation as well as good reading habits among students.

Sports

The school has a playground spread over more than two acres land. It provides facilities for Volley-Ball, Basket-Ball, Lawn-Tennis & Kho-Kho. Well built rows ensure comfortable and convenient viewing of players in action. The school has a multi-purpose auditorium having Badminton court and Table-Tennis facilities.
