*Teachers Training Session on effective class room management*

We organized two days comprehensive Teachers training session focused on effective class room management strategies.Mr Vivek Kumar, Regional Educational Coach-North India,ftom Exceed took the session. This initiative aimed to equip our educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance teaching practices foster a conducive learning environment.

The session began with an overview of the NEP, which emphasizes holistic education, critical thinking, and the importance of integrating technology in the class rooms. Educators engaged in discussions about the policy’s key components and how they can be implemented in daily teaching methodologies that align with the NEP’s vision for a more student centered approach to education.

Following the NEP discussions, the focus shifted to class room management techniques.. Teachers learned practical strategies for managing diverse learning styles and behaviors, fostering collaboration among students, and promoting positive class room dynamics. Role playing scenarios and group activities allowed educators to practice these techniques in a supportive setting.

The training not only reinforced the commitment to continuous professional development but also highlighted the importance of adaptability in meeting the needs of today’s learners.

Overall ,this training session was a significant step towards enhancing our educational practices in alignment with the NEP. By investing in our teachers’ professional growth, we are ultimately working towards improving student outcomes and creating more effective and responsive learning environment

Swaachhata Pakhwara

Swaachhata Pakhwara ,dedicated to promote cleanliness and hygiene, was celebrated in our school with a series of impactful activities. The initiative aimed to instill a sense of responsibility among students and staff regarding maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.

During the school assembly and class assembly, a cleanliness pledge was taken by the students and staff. This pledge emphasized the commitment to maintaining a clean environment both with in and outside the school premises.

The collective commitment was intended to foster a strong sense of responsibility.

Teachers delivered speech on the importance of cleanliness and hygiene. The session covered the broader impact of cleanliness on health and well-being.

A hand wash campaign was conducted to teach students the importance of hand hygiene. The activity involved a demonstration of proper hand washing techniques, which was followed by students. to raise the awareness about the environmental impact of plastic and promote sustainable alternative, informational sessions were conducted to encourage the use of Eco friendly materials and discourage to use plastic.

Role plays, videos and poster making have made this more impactful. As part of hygiene initiative, students’ personal hygiene was monitored. This included checks on nail trimming . Videos demonstrating various aspects of personal hygiene such as handwashing, dental care ,bathing and eating were shown to students. Students participated in role plays that depicted scenarios related to personal and environmental hygiene, enhancing their practical understanding

A comprehensive cleanliness drive was executed involving students and staff focusing on litter collection and taking out weeds from the ground, to maintain a clean and hygienic school environment.

Overall Swaachhata Pakhwara provided a valuable opportunity to instill life long habits of cleanliness and environmental stewardship in students.

Scholars Public School, Jadla excels in various events. Inter-House Quiz Competition

𝐀 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐮𝐧 Today Scholars Public School ,Jadla , conducted Social Studies Inter-house Quiz competition (class 6th to 8th). The event saw enthusiastic participation from all houses, showcasing impressive knowledge and quick thinking.

Quiz competition seeks to motivate students to go beyond textual comprehension and relate theory to real world applications of their studies. They also enhance meaningful knowledge retention by igniting interest and placing theoretical subjects in a real-world perspective.

Students competed in various rounds, testing their skills on historical facts, geography and cultural awareness. The competition was not only a fantastic learning experience but also a great way to foster school spirit and camaraderie among houses.

Agni House won the quiz followed by Prithvi house.

Workshop for the teachers

*Empowering Teachers with Provident Fund Knowledge* Scholars Public School had the distinct honour of hosting a comprehensive workshop for the teachers focusing on the various benefits and facilities offered by the EPFO,Jalandhar. Informative session was conducted by representatives from the Employees Provident Fund Organisation ,Jalandhar, aimed at enhancing educators understanding of their Provident fund entitlements and services. The session was attended by the representatives of different organizations of District SBS Nagar and our school staff.

*Workshop overview*

The workshop commenced with an introduction by Mrs Madhu Aeri,Principal ,who welcomed the EPFO team and outlined the purpose of the session. Mr Pardeep Kumar, Enforcement Officer along with Advocate Mr Mahesh Arora then took the floor ,providing an in-depth overview of the provident fund and the services available to employees.

*Key Facilities and benefits covered*

Provident fund account management:The EPFO representative explained how employees can manage their PF accounts online through the EPFO member portal (Umang)

This includes checking accounts balance, downloading pass books and tracking contributions.

*Contribution and interest rates*

Information was provided on the mandatory contributions made by both employers and employees, as well as the interest rates provided on the Provident fund balances.

*Withdrawal and Advances*

The workshop detailed the procedure and eligibility criteria for partial withdrawal and advances from the provident fund for specific needs such as medical emergencies or education.

*Pension Benefits*

Participants learnt about the pension scheme associated with the provident fund, including the benefits upon retirement or in case of disability.

*Grievance Redressal*

The officers discussed the process for addressing grievances resolving issues related to PF accounts, emphasizing the importance of maintaining accurate records and prompt communication with the PF office

*Digital Services and Tools*

Attendees were introduced to various digital tools and services provide by EPFO,such as the EPFO app and online claim submission designed to streamline processes and enhance accessibility

*Interactive Discussion*

The session included a Q&A segment where teachers raised their questions about specific issues and scenarios related to their provident fund accounts.

The EPFO officers provided clear and practical answers, helping to clarify doubts and emsure a better understanding of the benefits..

*Conclusion*

The workshop concluded with a closing address by Mr Rana Gagan Singh, Managing Director of Scholars Public School, who thanked the team for their expertise. The session was well received with participants expressing appreciation for detailed information and practical advice provided.

This workshop not only enhanced teachers knowledge about their PF entitlements but also reinforced the importance of financial planning and utilizing available resources effectively.

Independence day

This Independence day our school celebrated the spirit of freedom and unity with a vibrant patriotic group song and dance competition.

The event kicked off with an enthusiastic group song competition, where students showcased their vocal talent and passion for our country. Each performance resonated with patriotic fervour, reminding us of the sacrifices made for our freedom. The energy in the hall was palpable as everyone joined in to cheer for their classmates.

Following the singing, the dance competition brought even more excitement. Students performance was inspired by various themes of patriotism and national pride.Each dance was a beautiful representation of our culture and history captivating the audience and filling the room with joy.

The event highlighted not only the talents of our students but also the importance of coming together to celebrate our Independence

Today, our kindergarten students of Scholars Public School ,Jadla proudly celebrated Independence Day by bringing in vibrant Tricolor lunches, showcasing their creativity and patriotism! The colorful spread featured delicious treats representing the saffron, white and green of our National Flag.

They shared their meals,fostering a sense of community and pride. It was heartwarming to see their enthusiasm and creativity as they embraced the spirit of the occasion.

Parent-Teacher Meeting

Bridging the Gap: We had a fantastic turnout at our Parent-Teacher Meeting today ! It was wonderful to see so many parents engaging with teachers and discussing their children’s progress. Literary activities

Literary activities play a crucial role in pupil’s holistic development. Activities such as role play or skit help to promote critical thinking, creativity and communication skills which are essential for success in both academic and professional settings.

Skit competitions not only strengthen ones’ confidence to face the audience but also help in developing awareness about our surroundings and the daily happenings. Young learners are the best messengers to spread the awareness of the social and global issues and their voice do leave an impact on ones’ mind. Keeping in view, Scholars Public School, Jadla organized an Inter House English Skit competition for the students of Classes VI to IX

‘Social Media and its impact’ is a debatable topic. On the one hand, it is a major source of education, entertainment, and helps in making connections with the outer world.

On the other hand, it is negatively impacting the lives of people specially the teenagers, Cases of cyberbullying, addiction to Facebook, Snapchat Instagram, YouTube and games,exposure of personal data are the major effects of these.

The students of the four houses, namely, Agni, Prithvi, Salil and Vyom, presented interesting skits on the topic ‘The Impact of Social Media ‘, in the presence of the Principal, faculty members and students, which left everyone spelled bound.

Joy of the Monsoon Season

Our little Scholarians celebrated the beauty and joy of the monsoon season. The event was a perfect blend of fun,learning, and creativity, providing our young learners with a memorable experience.

The rain party kicked off with vibrant decorations, transforming the classrooms into a whimsical rain forest. Bright blue streamers,fluffy white clouds, and colorful raindrops set the stage for a day filled with excitement.

The event featured a range of engaging activities that not only entertained but also educated the children about the importance of rain in nature.

They crafted their own umbrella, made boats, sparkling rainbows 🌈 .

Such events are essential in nurturing holistic learning environment, where children can explore, create and enjoy while building lasting memories with their peers.

Visit to Krishi Vigyan Kendera

On 26th July, students of Scholars Public School Jadla, had an incredible experience during their visit to Krishi Vigyan Kendera,Langroya District SBS Nagar .

They explored various aspects of agricultural practices and gained valuable insights. The experts at KVK Dr.Maninder Singh,Associate Director, Dr Rajinder kaur,Assistant Professor, H.Sci,Dr Jaswinder Associate Professor and Dr Baljit Singh,Plant protection shared their extensive knowledge through practical demonstration, PPT’S,enabling them to understand the real world applications of class room learning.

During a guided tour to the field ,students witnessed sustainable farming practices. The incharge dignitaries explained the scientific and ethical aspects of organic farming also.

The knowledge and experience students gained during this visit will surely shape their perspective and inspire them to make a positive impact in agricultural sector.

Educational trip to Khatkarkalan

On 26th July 2024,students from Scholars Public school Jadla, embarked on an educational trip to Khatkarkalan village,District SBS Nagar, the ancestral town of Shaheed E Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh .This visit was organized to honor the legacy of the reverred freedom fighter and to provide students with a tangible connection to Bharat’s rich history of Independence.

The students of class 6th along with their social science teachers visited the museum and the ancestral house of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. They were mesmerized on seeing the personal belongings of Shaheed A Azam which have been carefully preserved by Punjab Government. Interactive displays and multimedia presentations helped in engaging students and deepening their understanding of the historical context.

The visit concluded with a tribute ceremony, where students expressed their thoughts and insights gained the experience. Many shared how the visit had ignited a renewed sense of patriotism and inspired them to contribute positively to society.

Overall the trip was both educational and inspirational. It provided students with a profound appreciation for the sacrifices made by those who fought for India’s independence and encouraged them to honor this legacy by striving for excellence in their own endeavors.

Dental check up camp

A dental check up camp was organized in Scholars Public School Jadla on 25th July 2024,for the whole school. The main objective of the camp was to provide basic dental health education to the school children and motivate dental hygiene maintenance.

Dr Rahul Sabharwal BDS,MDS(orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedic)ex PGI,Chandigarh and Dr Mahima Sabbharwal BDS,MDS(conservative dentistry and Endodontics)ex Govt hospital Amritsar from Shri Mann108 Sant Onkar Singh Ji Memorial Charitable Hospital, Mehatpur Ulladhani, SBS Nagar, along with their team visited the school and examined the students well.They spoke to the students about the importance of oral and dental care and explained in detail about the root cause of the dental and oral health problems. The students were highlighted about the eating patterns and food choices which causes tooth decay and were detailed about the right way to brush and about how to avoid toothache related problems.

The students also had a question and answer round with the doctors to resolve their queries based on dental hygiene. Dentists gave referral slips for those who need further treatment .The camp turned out to be very beneficial for our students.

This camp will surely bring change in the behavior of tiny tots and they would start taking preventive measures to avoid dental and oral problems.

No Bag Day

Scholars Public School embraced a unique initiative called “No Bag Day “.

No Bag Day is a day when students don’t have to bring their heavy bags instead immersed in a day filled with specially curated activities designed to enhance creativity, foster new skills and provide a holistic educational experience.

No Bag Day allows children to engage in hands-on experiential learning activities that promote practical skill development and real life problem solving abilities.

Celebrating Leadership at our Investiture ceremony

To inculcate the Leadership qualities in the students, Scholars Public School Jadla solemnised the most prestigious Investiture ceremony on 10th July 2024 with dignity and pride.

The momentous day dawned to bestow responsibilities on the deserving young talents of the school to lead their school with commitment, confidence and competence.

The event began with the school prayer and welcome of the reverred Managing Director Rana Gagan Singh and Principal Mrs Madhu Aeri. The young council members were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted them by the school. Their impressive March towards the dais for the customary oath-taking made the ambience Majestic and emotional. They were conferred with badges and sashes by the Managing Director and Principal. The school Flag and the respective House Flags were handed over as a sign of delegating responsibility to the newly elected captains.

The Managing Director congratulated the newly elected members and guided them to discharge their duties with commitment and integrity. He advised that Leadership is not only about titles, rather it is the ability to inspire, guide and bring out the best in others.The Principal motivated and blessed them with her golden views to make their vision clear and perform their duties with complete dedication. She emphasised that Leadership is to listen to needs and ideas and evocate them with passion .

Handball tournament

Inter-house Handball tournament was organized in the school in the month of April and May 2024.Students of all the houses got the opportunity to participate. Inspite of the hard climate all the participants played fantastic Handball match and represented their Houses brilliantly and in a disciplined way.

We firmly believe that the lessons learned on the sports field are in no way inferior to those that are learned in the class rooms. Infact, the learning that takes place on the field are lessons for the life.These very sportive fixtures serves to inculcate character and build resilience in a healthy manner

In senior boys Vyom House emerged to be the winner by defeating Salil House,and in senior Girls, Salil House won the match against Prithvi House.

In junior group boys -Vyom House won the match against the Agni House and in junior girls group, Agni House marked the position by defeating Vyom House

Birthdays are the most special day for everyone!

A significant day in one’s life when you celebrate living and celebrate your existence on this earth. Planting trees means giving the gift of life.

Keeping this thought alive a great initiative has been taken by the students of Scholars Public School, Jadla.

Our Birthday Girls, Jasmine and Dhavni of Class 6th A, celebrated their special day by planting plants in the school which shows their true love, care and great thought towards the environment.
