Independence day

This Independence day our school celebrated the spirit of freedom and unity with a vibrant patriotic group song and dance competition.

The event kicked off with an enthusiastic group song competition, where students showcased their vocal talent and passion for our country. Each performance resonated with patriotic fervour, reminding us of the sacrifices made for our freedom. The energy in the hall was palpable as everyone joined in to cheer for their classmates.

Following the singing, the dance competition brought even more excitement. Students performance was inspired by various themes of patriotism and national pride.Each dance was a beautiful representation of our culture and history captivating the audience and filling the room with joy.

The event highlighted not only the talents of our students but also the importance of coming together to celebrate our Independence

Fostering Patriotism Through Creativity

Today, our kindergarten students of Scholars Public School ,Jadla proudly celebrated Independence Day by bringing in vibrant Tricolor lunches, showcasing their creativity and patriotism! The colorful spread featured delicious treats representing the saffron, white and green of our National Flag.

They shared their meals,fostering a sense of community and pride. It was heartwarming to see their enthusiasm and creativity as they embraced the spirit of the occasion.

Parent-Teacher Meeting

Bridging the Gap: We had a fantastic turnout at our Parent-Teacher Meeting today ! It was wonderful to see so many parents engaging with teachers and discussing their children’s progress. The meeting provided a valuable platform for parents to ask questions and share insights, fostering a strong school – Community bond.

Teachers highlighted students’ achievements, shared academic goals and discussed ways to enhance learning experiences at home.

Literary activities

Literary activities play a crucial role in pupil’s holistic development. Activities such as role play or skit help to promote critical thinking, creativity and communication skills which are essential for success in both academic and professional settings.

Skit competitions not only strengthen onesтАЩ confidence to face the audience but also help in developing awareness about our surroundings and the daily happenings. Young learners are the best messengers to spread the awareness of the social and global issues and their voice do leave an impact on onesтАЩ mind. Keeping in view, Scholars Public School, Jadla organized an Inter House English Skit competition for the students of Classes VI to IX

‘Social Media and its impact’ is a debatable topic. On the one hand, it is a major source of education, entertainment, and helps in making connections with the outer world.

On the other hand, it is negatively impacting the lives of people specially the teenagers, Cases of cyberbullying, addiction to Facebook, Snapchat Instagram, YouTube and games,exposure of personal data are the major effects of these.

The students of the four houses, namely, Agni, Prithvi, Salil and Vyom, presented interesting skits on the topic ‘The Impact of Social Media ‘, in the presence of the Principal, faculty members and students, which left everyone spelled bound.

Joy of the Monsoon Season

Our little Scholarians celebrated the beauty and joy of the monsoon season. The event was a perfect blend of fun,learning, and creativity, providing our young learners with a memorable experience.

The rain party kicked off with vibrant decorations, transforming the classrooms into a whimsical rain forest. Bright blue streamers,fluffy white clouds, and colorful raindrops set the stage for a day filled with excitement.

The event featured a range of engaging activities that not only entertained but also educated the children about the importance of rain in nature.

They crafted their own umbrella, made boats, sparkling rainbows ЁЯМИ .

Such events are essential in nurturing holistic learning environment, where children can explore, create and enjoy while building lasting memories with their peers.

Visit to Krishi Vigyan Kendera

On 26th July, students of Scholars Public School Jadla, had an incredible experience during their visit to Krishi Vigyan Kendera,Langroya District SBS Nagar .

They explored various aspects of agricultural practices and gained valuable insights. The experts at KVK Dr.Maninder Singh,Associate Director, Dr Rajinder kaur,Assistant Professor, H.Sci,Dr Jaswinder Associate Professor and Dr Baljit Singh,Plant protection shared their extensive knowledge through practical demonstration, PPT’S,enabling them to understand the real world applications of class room learning.

During a guided tour to the field ,students witnessed sustainable farming practices. The incharge dignitaries explained the scientific and ethical aspects of organic farming also.

The knowledge and experience students gained during this visit will surely shape their perspective and inspire them to make a positive impact in agricultural sector.

Educational trip to Khatkarkalan

On 26th July 2024,students from Scholars Public school Jadla, embarked on an educational trip to Khatkarkalan village,District SBS Nagar, the ancestral town of Shaheed E Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh .This visit was organized to honor the legacy of the reverred freedom fighter and to provide students with a tangible connection to Bharat’s rich history of Independence.

The students of class 6th along with their social science teachers visited the museum and the ancestral house of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. They were mesmerized on seeing the personal belongings of Shaheed A Azam which have been carefully preserved by Punjab Government. Interactive displays and multimedia presentations helped in engaging students and deepening their understanding of the historical context.

The visit concluded with a tribute ceremony, where students expressed their thoughts and insights gained the experience. Many shared how the visit had ignited a renewed sense of patriotism and inspired them to contribute positively to society.

Overall the trip was both educational and inspirational. It provided students with a profound appreciation for the sacrifices made by those who fought for India’s independence and encouraged them to honor this legacy by striving for excellence in their own endeavors.

Dental check up camp

A dental check up camp was organized in Scholars Public School Jadla on 25th July 2024,for the whole school. The main objective of the camp was to provide basic dental health education to the school children and motivate dental hygiene maintenance.

Dr Rahul Sabharwal BDS,MDS(orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedic)ex PGI,Chandigarh and Dr Mahima Sabbharwal BDS,MDS(conservative dentistry and Endodontics)ex Govt hospital Amritsar from Shri Mann108 Sant Onkar Singh Ji Memorial Charitable Hospital, Mehatpur Ulladhani, SBS Nagar, along with their team visited the school and examined the students well.They spoke to the students about the importance of oral and dental care and explained in detail about the root cause of the dental and oral health problems. The students were highlighted about the eating patterns and food choices which causes tooth decay and were detailed about the right way to brush and about how to avoid toothache related problems.

The students also had a question and answer round with the doctors to resolve their queries based on dental hygiene. Dentists gave referral slips for those who need further treatment .The camp turned out to be very beneficial for our students.

This camp will surely bring change in the behavior of tiny tots and they would start taking preventive measures to avoid dental and oral problems.
