A highly informative and impactful awareness session on the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act) was conducted by the School POCSO Committee for students across different classes with the aim of ensuring a safe, secure, and happy childhood for every child.
The session sensitized students about their rights, personal safety, good touch and bad touch, and the importance of speaking up against any form of inappropriate behaviour. Informative videos, interactive discussions, and awareness activities were organized to help students understand the provisions and significance of the POCSO Act in an age-appropriate and meaningful manner.
The members of the School POCSO Committee elaborated upon various aspects related to child safety, protection, reporting mechanisms, and emotional well-being, encouraging students to remain aware, confident, and responsible.
